The Ulster Cycle (1)The Weakness of the Ulstermen (2)The Birth of Cuchulainn (3)The Boyhood Deeds of Chuchulainn (4)Cuchulainn's Hound:Cuchulainn Gets His Name (5)Cuchulainn Takes Up Armies (6)The Wooing of Emer (7)Bricriu's Feast (8)The Death of Connla (9)Deirdre of the Sorrows (10)Cuchulainn and Ferdia's Fight at the Ford (11)The Death of Cuchulainn これと平行して、これらの物語を素材とした現代劇作家YeatsやSyngeの作品を取り上げる。

評価方法

前期は小テストを2〜3回実施して英語の文章読解力を試し、後期は、劇作品についてのレポートの提出を求め、それらを総合評価する。
