| This course will introduce students to American Literature from its beginnings to the present. |

| As American began to develop its national identity, a unique and distinctive literature assumed the voice of the people and the new nation.In this reading intensive course, the students will examine the literature of America and from the mid 18th Century until the present day. |
| 評価方法 |
| There will be REGULAR reading assignments and homework in this course. Students will be graded on homework, attendance, class participation. In addition, there will be an end-of-semester report. |
