Students will be writing in class to develop fluency skills. |

After a weekly explanation and review of composition skills (such as grammar and punctuation), students will be given class time to work in journals. |

In the first semester, students are graded quantitatively, by page number. In other words, 60 journal pages will equal an hAh grade, etc. |
