The American Family

授業の目標（講義概要）

The first part of this course will serve as an introduction to the history of the American family. In the second part, we will look at some of the problems the family faces today.

授業計画

Topics to be covered will include: * What do the words is " marriage" and " family" mean ? * What are the different types of families around the world ? * How has the American family changed since Colonial times ? * General trends * Current issues Please note that this class will be conducted in English. The lectures, handouts, and tests will be in English only.

評価方法

The final grade: midterm test 50% final test 50% Please note that both of these tests will be closed-bookt( no notes, etc. allowed ).
