| This class offers students a chance to improve listening and speaking skills before leaving Japan to study abroad. |

| This course meets twice a week in the Spring semester. The main goals of this course are to increase students' ability in listening and speaking English. There will be occasional reading and writing practice. Since most of the students in this class will go abroad in the Fall, vocabulary and phrases especially useful in study abroad will be stressed. |
