Students will be introduced to different aspects of life in various English speaking countries through viewing short video clips of news, TV and movies from abroad. There will be listening activities with questions based on these video clips almost every week. What these video clips show about life abroad will be the basis of group discussions.

In addition to active class participation, speaking and writing English, each student must give a group or individual project of her own choice. There will also be a short test at the end of the semester.
