卒業論文の指導

授業の目標（講義概要）

この科目では、それぞれ担当教員により、各自の選択したテーマに沿って、卒業論文作成の個別指導が行われる。ただし、開講当初は、クラスの中で論文の書き方、資料の収集・整理の仕方等のガイダンスが行われる。大学での学習の集大成としての卒業論文に向けての積極的な姿勢が望まれる。

授業計画

In this class, students are expected to outline, organize, research, document, as well as write their senior thesis. During class will review, or in some cases introduce, research skills and bibliographic methods (plagiarism will result in instant failure of the course). Students should come prepared with a well-thought topic on the first day of class. The first homework assignment is a one-paragraph thesis statement (MLA 1.8.2). There is no required text but a copy of the MLA Handbook is strongly recommended.

評価方法

Students are graded on attendance (minus 10% from final grade for each unescused absence) and timely completion of assignments.
