Australian Studies includes some lectures by the teacher in English. However; the core of this course will be individual reading in English; and, group and individual study, including presentations made by groups of students on assigned topics. Each student will make several presentations a semester. If necessary, some time will be spent introducing students to computer skills needed for presentations.
The reading assignments in English and Japanese will be regularly tested in short quizzes. The quizzes and final test will be in English.
